Keith is Director of Research and Consultancy at the University of Hertfordshire Business School. With a background in social science and education he has taught courses in Personal Development, Interpersonal Skills, Organisational Behaviour and Managing Innovation and Creativity for eighteen years. His research has been largely concerned with the management and employment of highly qualified, professional and knowledge workers and studies of employment in the UK and US film, television and gaming industries. He has published in Personnel Review, Work, Employment and Society, the International Journal of Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Management Journal. In 2006 he led a research project The Breakthrough Leadership Project, for the London Learning and Skills Council, concerned with identifying the characteristics of successful leaders in London’s public service organisations. Last year he led a research team and published Creating Difference: Overcoming Barriers to Diversity in UK Film and Television Employment.
