Selwyn College, Cambridge University
Last year Ayd and I had a very challenging brief. We were asked to teach the whole 2nd year undergraduate group at the University of Hertfordshire. Topic? Entrepreneurship.
Hats off to them for embedding a crucial topic in a business school programme, but the numbers involved were huge, and it gave us a bit of a challenge. Well, we could have just stood up and lectured for two hours times 5 sessions times 2 semesters, but what would they really learn? We like our students to get hands on - so we invented a game!
It was very well received by close on a thousand students, so we figured other entrepreneurship educators would find it a great benefit for large group teaching. Here we are launching Ultrapreneur -the real life money game at the NCGE conference for entrepreneurship educators, with Richard.
