The Enterprising Manager
The Enterprising Manager
City University. Senior Nursing Managers. Four day course
Specifically aimed at the NHS, this course is for nursing professionals that have risen to senior manager positions and feel the need for both practical management training and specialist intrapreneurial techniques to equip themselves for the new NHS enterprise imperative. Richard, Stewart and I will be leading this course over four days. Informed by feedback from the pilot course delegates in March, and our own perceptions about the most effective training interventions for this group, we commence the June course with the programme re-arranged and more focussed. Above are two teams preparing for an interactive afternoon session.
“Great couple of days. Can’t wait for the next two!”
“First study day for ages that I haven’t worried about what time it would end!”
“The trainers work well with each other - a good flow and exchange of ideas”
“Everything was excellent”
“..some parts nerve racking but it was excellent in reality and gave me really useful skills that I can put into practice in the very near future”
“good to experience some anxiety provoking exercises in a safe environment and get constructive feedback”
